These are commercials from WAXY 106 from the early 80s. (1984?) Later on, the station changed their name to WAXY 105.9 recognizing that radios needed to be tuned into the exact dial position. I would suspect the repositioning was also due to ensure that Nielson families (for ratings) entered "105.9" in their diaries.Wednesday, June 25, 2008
